Directorate of  Technical Education deprives the qualified youngsters of Goa of the Administrative positions in the directorate  by illegally filling up the administrative position with full time lecturers from
various Government Polytechnic Colleges.

these lectures are for more than 7 years and some for more than 10 years, performing clerical job in the directorate of Technical Education instead of doing what they were appointed for i.e as lectures in Various polytechnic colleges in Goa.

being a lecturer they do not provide any advantage while doing administrative work in Directorate but cause an disadvantage and academic loss to the students in their respective Polytechnic Colleges.

but why this is done i.e why these lectures are deputed and made to perform administrative duties in directorate?

the answer to this question is very simple and we all know.

deputing these lectures in directorate creates vacancies in the Polytechnics,having vacancies gives opportunity to the director to appoint more lectures and obviously more appointments mean more kickbacks.

for this reasons the temporary administrative positions made only for six months are going on for years without any express extension and the decision to fill the post on regular basis pressed under irrelevant remarks and notes made on the file notings.

today  made this letter to the Secretary of The Board of Technical Education,Shri.N.V.T Pednekar who is responsible for filling of the administrative post in Directorate of Technical Education.:

The administrative arrangement in the Directorate of Technical Education was decided vide order No.5/DTE/Misc./2006-07/2723/2902 dated 20-02-2007, and order No.5/DTE/Misc/2006-07/1428 dated 17^th August 2007 for the following post:

1.      Joint Director –E                            Dr.V.R Ambatkar

2.      Secretary BTE                                Smt.P.K Kelekar

3.      Assistant Director-CAD                 Shri Pradeep K. Kusnur

4.      Assistant –Director Estt                 Shri.Pratap D.Khedekar

5.      Assistant Director-Colleges           Shri.Alvito D’Silva

6.      Assistant Secretary –BTE              Shri.Nitin Rao

7.      Assistant Director –Polytechnic     Shri.Vivek Belokar

8.      Assistant Secretary-BTE                Ms.Classie Monteiro

9.      Assistant Director—CA-Degree     Ms.Neeta Naik

10.  Assistant Director—CA- Diploma    Ms Suvidha Kulkarni

This administrative arrangement was agreed by the Government only for six months with a condition to fill the above mentioned post on regular basis at the end of the six months or earlier.

Now as on today from the day of issuing the above cited orders dated 20/02/2007 and 17^th August 2007 approximately 2589 days or 7 years,1 month and 4 days have elapsed. This is enough time to fill the above mentioned post on regular basis by inviting applications from the eligible candidates from public so as to give opportunity to the public.

Hence, hereby I am reminding you to fill the above mentioned posts indicated in the orders dated 20/02/2007 and 17^th August 2007, on regular basis.
